Terms of service

These terms apply to quotations, bookings and work carried out by Freeman Plumbing Services. If anything is unclear, ask us before the work starts.

Quotations

Written quotations cover the work described in them. If the survey or the work itself reveals something that was not visible beforehand, we will explain it and agree any change with you before continuing.

Bookings and access

Please let us know as early as you can if you need to change an appointment. We need safe access to the boiler, the gas or oil supply and the relevant parts of the property to carry out the work.

Additional work, parts and materials

Any additional work, parts or materials that are not included in the agreed job are charged separately, and we will quote you before carrying them out.

Payment

Payment terms are set out on your quotation or invoice. VAT is charged at the applicable rate.

Workmanship and warranties

Gas work is carried out by RGII-registered engineers and certified accordingly. Manufacturer warranties on equipment are provided by the manufacturer and registered in your name where applicable; their own terms and servicing conditions apply.

Safety

If we find a situation that is unsafe, we are obliged to make it safe and may have to isolate an appliance or supply. We will always explain why.
